Winter Road Maintenance (plowing and sanding) Contract Information for the 2022-2023 winter season

The Mirror Lake Estates Association Board of Directors has selected Tuftonboro Development and Contracting to provide winter maintenance of our roads for the upcoming winter season, to include plowing and sanding. We received a total of seven proposals (bids) for plowing and sanding, so we had a good selection of vendors, details of service each vendor would provide, prices, and other important details. All of this allowed the Board to make a good, informed decision as to which proposal we would finally accept.

Tuftonboro Development and Contracting provided a very comprehensive proposal at a reasonable price, and came highly recommended. The Board is confident that they will provide exceptional service to our community over the course of this winter. They have committed to keeping our roads passable during long duration storms and to make all reasonable efforts to have the roads open by 8AM in the event of an overnight storm.

Tuftonboro Development and Contracting will commence plowing and sanding with the arrival of a three inch accumulation of snow or the arrival of an ice event that renders the roads unsafe for travel. They have told us that they are open to providing bids to individuals for driveway plowing. If you have a need, contact them at 603-569-5498 or by email at FTranchita@TDandC11c.com.

An assessment to pay for the costs of repaving a large section of Mirror Lake Drive (See meeting information for details) was voted upon at the 31-Jul-2021 MLEA meeting. The assessment is due on or before 1-Oct-2021 ! Gary Philbin (Treasurer) will be sending invoices within the next few days.
